Unbound launches AI-first platform that combines business phone, contact center, CRM and marketing automation
SANTA MONICA, Calif. — October 27, 2026 — Unbound today launched a platform that runs a company's phone system, contact center, CRM and marketing as one product on one customer record, with AI agents that work the same queues as staff. Every call, chat and deal lives in one place, so your team and your AI see the whole customer. Most tools sync to your CRM. Unbound is the CRM. Unbound is available now in the cloud, onsite, or both, and is sold through resellers and technology services distributors (TSDs), with self-serve signup at unbound.cx.
Most companies buy those tools from separate vendors, each with its own partial copy of the customer, and AI added to each tool sees only that slice. On Unbound, every call, text, email, meeting, form fill, deal, and ticket lands on one customer record the moment it happens.
"We started building Unbound in 2023 because we kept seeing the same problem: the phone system doesn't know what the CRM knows, and marketing never hears that a customer called twice yesterday," said Cameron Weeks, CEO of Unbound. "Adding AI to each of those tools separately doesn't fix that, because AI is only as useful as what it can see. So we built one platform where AI and your team share the same customer record."
AI agents managed like the rest of the team
Unbound's AI agents take calls, chats, texts and emails from the same queues as employees, under the same routing rules. Managers score them with the same quality scorecards, coach them and set exactly which records, tools and refunds each can use. If an AI agent gets stuck, it hands it off to a person with the full history on screen, so the customer doesn't repeat anything.
